With lost emotions, I regress,
My solitude does not impress,
My loneliness trapped, within a box,
The key is gone, the key is lost.
My passions follow where I go,
But you my soul does reap my soul does sow,.
I'll trace your steps upon the sand,
As my silhouette tightly holds your hand.
And we walk the sunset hazy beach,
As for your endearment I desperately do beseech.
My heart a door, remains ajar,
For the light and warmth of a falling star,
Burning with the quickest flame,
For I desire you to feel the same.
For only you my love does live,
For only you my heart I'll give.
For only you I give my all,
Like the burning, flaming shooting star.
Falling, falling ever more,
Onto the earth, never seen before,
It fell for us, within this night,
The moon, it shadowed its restless flight.
And finally then to land, where on the sand we stand.
Where in this life, we love, we live and sacrifice.
For if we are one, never again apart,
I give this star as it is my heart.
And the key to the box to free,
My loneliness only you could see.

Very touching a poem nicely built from the beginning and completed tying the ending to the start. The element of carrying one's loneliness in a box a nice touch. Very nicely done
