A FORM WITH NO NAME

Is music considered a work of art

That commands a kind of respect

And mainly for a poet, will inspire

Creating deep emotional response

Sometimes not through familiarity

But yet another kind of resonance

By projecting images and a feeling

Perhaps unexpected, yet powerful

Seeing words swept from obscurity

And will then assemble on the page

Adding their own life to the music

A connection now quite complete

Not just melody summoning lyrics

Nor even the opposite way round

But it is what the music has to say

A poem that is close to heart. Music is an inspiration, a heartbeat, a raising of the spirits in vibration. Music is an art and if combined with poetry as lyrics the highest of the arts. A lovely write
