Would we be in love as well?
When I asked you about your feelings,
you told me “you don’t love me.”
But you actually do.
I think I have lied about that too.
Did we just let our love die
’cause we don’t know how to say?
Was “I love you” that hard
that we always asked ourselves
who is right?
Now after ten years,
I sigh in guilt.
What would have happened
if I let those three words spill?
I wonder why you hide
the words in your mind.
Were you afraid that I would reject
if you let those words unbind?
If we had just confessed what we feel,
would we be in love as well?
