I Spy With My Big Eye……

Doggerel Dave

She’s back again, I do believe:

Friendship’s today settling in

For a while, but ready to leave;

A third exit, additional spin.

This is part of an old verse.

Different name, character same;

Going to make this one quite terse

Obviously a waste of time…

  • Comment from author about the poem: This a continuation of an ongoing saga which began with the post ‘Fraternity’ moved to ‘Oracle’ continued onto ‘Once More With Feeling’ and completing the cycle with, I would have thought, ‘Friendly Response….’ *** Has my very old adversary won? Let "all those who love (her)" get on with it.....🤣

    Terse is right. How to say? Left me chewing my nails (something I never did) for quite a while.

      Be careful - People are judged be the company they keep and this case, that\'s me!

        Happy to be judged 😇

        Now Dave I think you may be mistaken in who you think this is. Regardless although I know your bark to be worse than your bite others might not. Let me pet that loveable old head of yours and tell you everything is all right.

          Condesension will get you nowhere, Soren. Now cut the shit.

            When I had my dog I was used to cleaning up dog shit all the time and didn't mind I loved the dog.

              Sad after such a long time, but 'bye Soren...

              Read one of you previous poems and you mentioned 'copilot'. Had to look it up.
              Thought it might be that blow-up thing from 'Airplane' . Now I know. Prefer to use my Brain.
              'You can't call me AI' as Paul Simon wouldn't say.
