One, Two, Three, Four
Tap, Tap, Tapping
Yodel down the door
One, Two, Three, Four
Hold your horses tighter
As we yodel down the door
I was born in Oklahoma,
On a Friday night in June
Known I’d be a movie star,
Cast, yodelled long and true
Not long I toured the country,
They all loved me for my lungs
Now everybody hears me as I yodel from above
They call me Jessie, The Yodelling Cowgirl,
A bit unordinary,
Yet the princess of the prairie
That’s right, I’m Jessie, The Yodelling Cowgirl,
“Yee-Haw!” Hear my words,
I yodel a verse,
From dawn, ‘till dusk, ‘till dawn
Yes, I’m Jessie, The Yodelling Cowgirl
As a young un I looked up to,
The famous artists from where I’m from
I’d shake their hand, they’d understand,
The hard rock I’ve been put on,
The fame, inconsequential,
‘Cause they only loved me for my lungs
But they cast me on your TV’s,
So I know I’m doing good
