Witness to an Unrivaled Utopia:A Mortal's Take on a Deity's Beauty

Mystery's Creation

Mature and youthful beauty alike

Intersperse on this warm, yet comfortable Night

The endless darkness and the eternal light

A conflict in terms,be they ever so slight

The death of a rainbow and a prism's cry

Bring subsequent tears to an overcast sky

It's plans to shine brightly having gone awry

Giving way to facades that smiles belie

Shattered dreams pieced together by love

Like those most often from far up above

A deity disguised as the merest of mortals

Who will,in time, return to Her portal

From whence She came so long ago

Her spirit serene,Her aura aglow

A journey that few will ever know

Eyes ablaze with the brilliance of jewels

Rubies and diamonds appearing to duel

Beauty abducts that which can't be recovered

As the ransom requested is meant for another

Iridescent seduction and the essence within

Making it easier to wrest virtue from sin

What's considered a dream perchance

Is misconstrued as flawed romance

A prodigy with whom to dance

Leading by mere circumstance

The constant allure

Of a woman demure

An elixir to that

Which has no cure

Gold and silver juxtapose

To satisfy what the fates propose

A martini or sangria

Or any other panacea

Much like that within Your eyes

Cure all that they hypnotize

Romance on which poetry's based

A poison that most are destined to taste

A cosmic light considered forbidden

The spectrum within which til now had been hidden

The brilliance of a shadow and to whom it belongs

Enveloping that over whom it may fawn

Verbal slivers of silent mirrors

Reflect on the Succubus and those who may fear Her

Eclipses,novas and pulsars unite

To compliment clouds so billowy white

As the moonlit quiet's impeded upon

By the bustling of the dawn

That of which will soon be gone

In the musing's that this poem have spawned

A poem of cosmic proportions that bleeds into love. Nicely worded and with rhyme
