Scarred but Not Broken

GenXer Shamrocker ☘️

We each carry a scar or more upon our hearts. Some held the capacity to tear our souls apart. Scars tell the story of where each of us has been. Scars mean we survived; we are not broken. We each carry a scar or more that can help pull someone else out of the dark. Scars are the very teacher that tends to heal another’s heart. Scars are the very tools we use to rebuild and become whole again. Scars do not mean that we are too broken. We each carry a scar or more that reshaped us into who we are. Scars mean you’re still here; not broken; and each day brings a new start. For we hold onto His promise that He is near to the broken hearted. So when you think you’re too broken; you’re actually just getting started.

Good write GS. KP's been 'scarred' for years, looking trout-like! Heehee.

My friend, this is heartfelt. The way you turn scars from marks of pain into signs of survival and even healing...that’s powerful truth. And rooting it in God’s promise makes it all the more hopeful. Beautifully done. 🌹✝️🙏🐦‍⬛
