Contract by Michael Lermontov

Ksey_Gan

Let the crowd brand with contempt

Our unsolved  union, alas,

Let human prejudiceI coment

Deprive you of family ties,

But before the idols of bomond

I do not ever bend my knees;

Like you, I do not know in it the comment

Neither strong malice nor love blues.

Like you, I spin in noisy frolic,

Not distinguishing any one.

I share with the smart and the frenetic

I live for only my heart fan!

We do not value earthly happiness,

We are accustomed to value humanity.

We’ll  both not every ,betray ourselves,

And they cannot betray us hustle.

In the crowd we recognized each other;

We came together and will part again.

There was love without joy  rather -

Then separation will be without pain.

    A poem of love looked at from a different angle. Nicely written
