The weight of burden

Nicole Pritchard

In shadows cast by a fading light

Depression creeps, a silent fight

The weight of your burden bears you down

A heavy fog that clouds your town

You stumble, lost, in the darkest night

Unaware of love's guiding light

Those who care for you see you slip

Their hearts aching as you fade from grip

They reach out hands, a helping guide

To lead you back to love's warm side

Though darkness grips and fears reside

They'll stand with you and be your stride

Together, they'll help you find the way

To shed the weight and seize the day

Their love will be the light that shines

Guiding you back to peaceful minds
