Questions for you (1)
My dreams and thoughts,
thoughts and dreams,
are yours as mine seem?
My dreams are fantastical and amazing to view,
they get effected by what to me the world does do,
they react to the affecting from the views of my you,
and still they remain fantastical and amazing to view.
My thoughts are twisted back to being leveled and straight,
they are confused into understanding each state,
they organize themselves and ideal to contemplate,
and still they are twisted to be leveled and straight.
And you?
What do your dreams and thoughts bring to light?
Are your thoughts twisted straight into the night?
Are fantastically amazing images brought to sight?
Like mine do?
You're mine
You are mine.
Internally feeling your life,
feeding your mouth to survive,
together we force the other alive.
You're mine.
Intellectually diminished by one,
interrupting the other before done,
mine.
Without you I am just a part,
erratically beating the rhythm of heart,
breathing pointless air each breath,
separated from you at your death.
Mine.
You are mine.
Internally stealing your life.
Mine.
Now take a deep breath.

- Comment from author about the poem: Was listening to the song "You're mine", and others by "Disturbed". These are a couple that sprung up.

A most interesting concept that is so commonly voiced. It is meant as an endearment but in meaning can be taken as possession. Very thought provoking and well written
The second one is written knowing the side meanings would be seen. What is mine is my: consciousness, opinion, thought, vision, the human. I believe the consciousness is a separate creature (what we actually are) that takes over the empty shelled Human, so that poem is telling the Human he's mine, or the human saying it back to all I listed. have fun re-reading understanding those mines.
These poems are so deep and emotional. I love how they tie dreams, thoughts, and even survival to connection with another person. It feels haunting but beautiful at the same time.

I guess everyone interpret things different it is poetry. Thanks for the explanation.
