The Usurper's Call

Tristan Robert Lange

Hanging up humility on
Yesterday’s conversion
Pretentiously upon false pretense,
Occupying God’s throne—
Crown upon cocky creature
Riding atop a horse named Grace.
Irony escapes such situations,
Stealing away from the fall to come.
Yes—quite the wake up call.

Nice one! With Grace as a horse, how would we handle her and for how long? Very interesting to follow the thinking trail here. 🕊️🙏

Popeye's not usurped anything. He's had it from the start. Had what? Don't answer that of course! lol.
