Flowers in a valley

Pineapple_pizza018

I wish somethings could last like this moment

I'm losing faith fast and I think they know it

So I'll bring it up in a desperate prayer

Why would you keep me there?

Made it to where I could see

Made it to where I could breathe

I trust you when you say you have a plan

I know you're doing what you can

So whatever the reason may be

That I’m barely getting by

I'll just have to wait and see

And I'll just trust that you're by my side

I can only do what I can

But when I've reached the mountain

I'll take a look down below

But instead of only seeing hurt and pain

This time ill see this valley of flowers just needed time to grow

So, I'll thank you for the rain

Now I'll lay it at your feet

And I'll thank you for every breath I can breathe

I brought it up in a grateful prayer

Thank you, Jesus, for keeping me there

You knew just what I needed,

All these flowers in your garden

Have grown since last fall

I'll remember my roots and where I came from

I know there's still more to come

No, that's not all

Yes, I know you have big plans

Plans bigger than me

I'm just planting your seeds

And you hold my world in the palm of your hands

Now I can see

These flowers can even survive the snow

And I'll pray that this garden of flowers may grow

In the valley
