Dancing Under Borrowed Stars

gray0328

the disco ball spins endlessly

casting diamonds across eager skin

when the spotlight claims its throne

we are glitter caught in motion

bodies swaying like restless waves

hands searching for a rhythm’s anchor

mouths open, shouting silent stories

hearts pounding louder than the bass

the air hums with electric whispers

a symphony of strangers becoming one

light fragments kiss the sweat and tears

and we dissolve into radiant chaos

beneath skies made of fractured glass

we find ourselves whole and unknown

in the shimmering, fleeting coruscation

we are both lost and finally found
