The Universe and the Mountain

RSM0812

To fall a hundred times, arise as shadows slowly climb.

Atop the highest mountain cap, is where midnight takes a shallow nap.

The stars all hidden behind the black, howling at the moon

To fall into the deep of space, to climb yet not too soon.

Like ladders leading underground, and heavens lure aghast.

The world she spins around and true, till weathered natures past.
