My Best Friend

God’s Will

Oh the fun we had, where has it been? I look all over but can't find it in friends. You were always so pure in all that you'd do, but at this point my heart's just awe fully blue. I long for your time. Maybe we can spend it together. It wouldn't cost a dime no matter the weather.  Maybe we can go play out side like we did, oh way back when we were still kids. Maybe one day for it can't happen now. I've tried and I've tried but can't find out how.
Love you til later.....

There is a longing in this piece that is nostalgic for a time when the relationship was closer, more simple and happier. Nicely done with rhyme
