Wanting some crisp air

Nicole Pritchard

Frosty mornings, icy breeze

A respite from the heat that brings us to our knees

Snowflakes falling gently, pure and white

A winter wonderland, a peaceful sight

Summer's humid air, a heavy weight

Makes each step feel like a labored fate

But winter's crispness, oh so divine

Invigorating senses, making heart and soul align

Let the heatwave fade, let winter's chill arrive

Bring calm and coolness, a world alive

Crisp air awaking, senses refreshed and new

A season of wonder, for me and you

    Beautiful poetry about the climate.

Invigorating is the feeling I get. A season where nature goes dormant and we must move to stay warm. A lovely write.
