The attraction held by the abyss
To darker lands it always lead
The deeper they went, easier the tread
Pack your morals, hold them tight
Let loose some, and you lose the fight
The price you pay, for time in the abyss
Is the loss of your innocence that could not resist

Carefully rhymed this poem flows well and leaves a feeling of diving downward as it says into the abyss
This poem reminds me of being surrounded with darkness. Not knowing when u will see the light. Nice write.
