I feel the pull before I see
A quiet hand, unseen, guiding me
Through shadowed halls of memory
Where echoes cling like autumn leaves.
The world I knew dissolves to gray
Yet warmth persists in soft decay
A presence hums beneath my skin
A gentle tide that draws me in.
I am weightless, yet not alone
A tethered soul, by grace unknown
The river bends beneath my gaze
Its currents part in spectral haze.
Whispers coil around my heart
Each pulse a spark, a fleeting part
I cannot speak, yet understand
This force is kind, this hand is planned.
I drift past fear, past pain, past time
To a realm unmarked by mortal rhyme
A light, not blinding, waits for me
Where the lost are home, and spirits free.
And as I rise on angels wings
I hear the faintest music sing
No final step, no end, no strife
Just gentle arms and endless life.
