Truth means letting loved ones know how you feel. Truth means to not sugar coat your words. Always keep it real. Truth means to confront the things that hurt you most. To do this respectfully, you’ll need guidance from the Holy Ghost. Truth means to never have to hide who you are. Mistakes and all; speak from the heart. Truth means to say the things that you find hard to say. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone. We only have today. Truth means that even if it’s hard it’s a risk you’re willing to take. Knowing all the while each wall will break. We as humans are all sinners who by His Grace have been saved; truth means we speak through our fears and hold onto our Faith.

- Comment from author about the poem: 🙏 We all fall short at times. We are human and all we can do is the best we can. We make mistakes with the hope we learn from them. Never to repeat them again.

Nicely written Shamrocker in good poetic style. Lacing rhyme into a message is not always easy and you do it well. A poem of conviction about a nonsecular topic of truth that many equate with religion but is far broader and anyone should have the courage and conviction to speak despite times of falsehood and not knowing what to believe. Well done
My friend, this is powerful…truth as love, as risk, as faith in action. Every line carries urgency, grace, and conviction. Beautifully written. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Good write GS.
Meanwhile - of course, I always speak the truth to KP. I say to her every day 'You're looking more trout-like today, my dear!' Heehee. Then me ears burn in the unrepeatable words she replies to me! lol.
