THE BRIDGE OF LOVE
Do not become a bridge—
This saying has lingered since...
But without a bridge,
Love would never exist;
The shores would remain barren,
Like mist without a breeze...

Nothing wrong with being a bridge if you don't mind being walked on and over and the point that you might collapse. Love requires one to be walked over voluntarily and sometimes the weight is great enough that one willingly collapses so that the other can get to the other side. A lovely write.
What a great comment, a thoughtful read! Thank you!
You are most welcome
