Haiku

Priya Tomar

( Beauty )

Beautiful  peacock

Dancing in the monsoon wind

But  insects in beak

( dew drops )

In tender morning

Dew drops on barren bough

Like the pretty pearls.

( Rose )

A lovely pink rose

Like a new wedded bride

Smiling in green veil.

Three beautiful haikus each with their own merit and the last with thorns. Loved them all.

    A stem bent with dew
    kisses the lowest of all
    but springs back anew

Priya, these haiku feel like little windows into stillness...the peacock in monsoon winds, dew like pearls, the rose smiling in her veil. Gentle, delicate, and quietly alive. A gift to read. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
