Simplicity

Spencer Wilhelm

Notice of absence from Spencer Wilhelm
The Mennonites might be on to something...
I'll be taking one year off away from my devices to be with the Lord. Pray for me

Judge not lest ye be judged.

I am undoubtedly

Guilty of

Hypocriting.

Who am I to say he shan't have the better part?

More humility lies in the man who says

What knowledge lacks inside his head:

Pure genuiness of questioning.

Small comments in large discussions,

Useless to the learned mind,

But wonderful to the Lord our God,

Delighted by him speaking.

And to his exclaiminations

Regarding sarcastic statements,

I thank you for his gift of reason,

Piercing through his remarkings.

Shed the light of charity,

Cast in on my soul,

May it not get caught on fleshy

Worldly messes of me.

Let it shine from you to Him

Through me,

And may he only

Know your love,

You,

Jesus Christ,

Our Lord.

A religious poem of guidance and wisdom. Nicely written in a most powerful form. Lovely
