Brunch of Beasts

Aman 12

Vultures clutch cappuccinos and half-baked opinions
perched on cafe chairs like royalty,
sipping judgement with foam art
The beaks rip reputations before the croissants
and in between gluten-free hypocrisy.

Consumption is domination
in this brunch obsessed theater of civility.
The catching up is a hunt
and even vultures are on menu.

Sounds like a politicians brunch to me. Really great images with what appears to be incongruous combinations that in fact make great sense as metaphors for a world crazier than Alice's Wonderland. Nicely done a fave
