Looking back now
I should have known
when I saw Raven there
in the middle of the road
because, it was 5 am
and I was finally going home
I was the happiest I’d been for ages
A perfect summer's Dawn
with a perfect rising Sun
I'd never seen him there before, in the middle of the road
so I should have known?
I should have read it as a sign?
and I should have turned back
so now I know...
I cannot change what is or what has been?
but if I ever see him there again
My darling Raven, in the middle of the road
I'll know, I'll know...
just what to do.

Signs that we fail to recognize can in hindsight become regret but then who would know at the time. Another good read my friend
It surely was this time my dear sorrenbarret, next time I shall turn back, or maybe even not, because I find not knowing is the worse type of regret. 🌹
Wonderful, dearest Teddy! Love this and all your raven collection I’ve read. Stored in my heart they all are. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Water under the bridge. We can not change what has gone, but we can live in the present and have hopes for the future. Beautiful words dear Teddy. Hope you are well and happy. ❤️
Cassie, so incredibly happy to see you, sending you giant hugs today my darling friend, 🌹 🤗 🤗
