The labyrinth of my mind

Nicole Pritchard

In the labyrinth of my mind

Thoughts spin around, a restless wind

I chase the whispers, the shadows cast

But find no peace, no answers to forecast

I'm lost in loops, a maze of my own

Till I pause and let the thoughts be known

What am I seeking, in this endless spin?

Is it truth, or just a fleeting win?

Perhaps it's not the answer I need

But the question itself, the truth to read

In the stillness, I find my way

To the heart of the matter, night and day

And when I finally see what's been concealed

The thought that I've been trying to reveal

It's not always what I expected to find

But in the clarity, my heart and mind align

And with the truth revealed, the weight subsides

Space opens up and my mind abides

Free from the clutter, the noise, the pain

New thoughts can enter, like sunshine and rain

The mind renewed, with room to breathe

A canvas clear, for new dreams to seethe

The cycle breaks and I'm free to roam

In the open space, new possibilities to call home
