Summer Rain

Keeter C

This evening I walked in a shimmering sunny sunset whilst holding an umbrella to block the rain.

Like the song that relates “Have you ever seen the rain coming down on a sunny day?”

These days frequented my youth and are more seldom now.

But yet seldom, still trigger those memories.

Sometimes seldom is more of a trigger than frequent. A beautiful poem with great images

This feels warm and nostalgic the way you link the rain and sun to memory gives the piece a gentle, reflective beauty. Nicely written.
