In shadows deep, where silence cries,
Amidst the chaos, a heart replies.
Whispers of doubt in the storm’s embrace,
God, where are You in this frantic space?
The night is loud, the world a blur,
Hope flickers faint, yet still, I stir.
In every tear, in every sigh,
I seek Your comfort, I long to fly.
Through tangled paths where fears collide,
Your gentle presence, my steadfast guide.
In chaos’ grip, let me find the light,
God, be my anchor in the darkest night.

- Comment from author about the poem: Just so much chaos in the world. Not often I turn on the television, but when I do, I see no good.

A poem that looks for meaning and help from a higher power in a world out of control. Nicely done
