This feeling is not new
just surprised its not of you
I have wept and lyed
and did things I didn't have to
just to begin a new
But I'm surprised that you lied
When you told me this wasn't goodbye
you held my hand so gently
and didnt let go
I wanted to believe you, but the heart does know
It was sad to see you go
And even sadder to know
my heart might reap forever
for a love you never sow
You are a liar...now I know
