I Escaped Groundhog Day

Xalvazora

I wake up,

My bladder is full,

So I get up to empty it.

I take my meds,

Going back to sleep.

I wake up,

It's the afternoon.

I get up,

Fully.

I play video games

While listening to music.

The day passes into night.

I wake up,

My bladder is full,

So I get up to empty it.

I take my meds,

Going back to sleep.

It's becoming tiring.

I wake up,

It's the afternoon.

I get up,

Fully.

I play video games

While listening to music.

The day passes into night.

I wake up.

Everything repeats itself.

My bladder is full,

So I get up to empty it.

I take my meds,

Going back to sleep.

I wake up,

Today seems different.

My bladder is full,

So I get up to empty it.

I check the time,

It's 6AM -

It's not time yet,

I'm going back to sleep.

I wake up,

I check the time -

It's 10AM.

I get up,

Get ready for work.

First day,

And nervous.

Arriving,

Anxiety creeps in.

After work,

I'm tired.

I did a good job,

For my first time.

Though,

Everything went fast,

While my mind went slow.

I have to get used to it -

Let tomorrow not be yesterday.

When each day seems as the last and life runs full circle it speaks of how to alter it. A most thought provoking write
