Aphrodite’s Fortune

Georgia Watson

Aphrodite’s fortune:

I dance upon the siren sound of your voice, eyes of an angel gold I could forever fall into.

The brush of skin longing and lingering, one touch all I could ever wish for.

Aphrodite’s fortune,

For me,

Is you.

I fall asleep enwrapped in warmth thinking of you,

I wake up the same.

In your arms is the real treasure of our love,

As Apollo writes the lines and she portrays them.

Aphrodites fortune,

To me,

Is you.

A beautiful love poem so well written.

Georgia, this one shines with devotion. Aphrodite’s fortune becomes the touch, the warmth, the constancy of your love. That line with Apollo writing and her portraying elevates it into myth, timeless and radiant. Tender and beautiful, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
