Multitudes in shadows linger,
Cutting, slicing their own finger.
As day to night, and sun to moon,
Whom is right, through and through.
Gather all thy blessings be,
As eating from an apple tree,
Its nectar wise and full of grief,
If not of heavenly belief.
The snake it preys upon the weak,
Then pretends to kiss the other cheek.
As rainbows fall, and dirt is stained.
And the knowledge hath remained.
