Music

Krissy.V

We all love music can’t you agree

But how I never thought one day

I would have to drown the world

And my thoughts in it. It’s gotten

Worse I liked thinking but now

Why can’t it just shut up

Drowning my life with music is all

I have left

Am i really a burden?

Am i really a spoiled brat?

Am i really a bitch?

Am I an embarrassment?

Do I ruin everything?

Do i deserve to be dead?

Oh to disappear for good

Just to feel something for

Once

Music is my escape, my excuse

My everything..

This poem speaks of music being a stress reliever and comforter when there are no other perceived support systems. Nicely written

Music takes you away from it all, evokes good memories, some bad.
Always feel sorry for those who don't get music.
