The Belt of Truth

gray0328

Jesus, my anchor, my steadfast guide,

your truth, the light in my path,

bind me daily with your clarity,

the belt of truth firm around me.

In each word, let honesty bloom,

in every silence, let grace remain,

through shifting winds, keep me steady,

in your truth, let my steps be sure.

Teach my tongue to sing your truth,

to speak it boldly, yet with love.

In trials, in joys, in quiet hours,

may I live a life that honors you.

Here, where earth and heaven press,

let my actions align with your word.

Christ, my truth, my everbright flame,

keep me true to the life you give.
