God blesses when people mock you,
Taught us what is righteous and true.
Pray for those who are the persecuted,
Non believing minds need to be rebooted.
Reading some of Matthew 5, keeps me alive,
We're all subject to judgement, nowhere to hide.

Yes, it may start off nice, those 'Beatitudes', then we may wish they ended before the 'persecution' bit.
But meanwhile - Ohh, I not got the hang of it - Give us ya cash, cos it says 'Blessed are the poor (in spirit)'. But then I won't be blessed as I'll be rich!' Doh!
