- Comment from author about the poem: Not everything we do to get something better in return is a demonic act. In life, we will come across people that are temporarily there to serve as life lessons so we can choose better people in the future. There is nothing wrong with wanting better for ourselves than having relationships that hurt us and cause us psychological damage. Sometimes we have to say goodbye even if love is involved.
