The quarrel of the clouds

Sami Mulaj

THE QUARREL OF THE CLOUDS

Do you see how the clouds quarrel,

And why?

The defiant earth

Orgasms

In velvet hues.

Immersed in mist,

Embracing itself—

Mountains,

Abysses,

Fertile fields,

Burdened with life…

The clouds quarrel,

Pushing,

Tussling in tufts…

They call the rain

To quench the orgasm

That shakes the earth.

A clever line in the clouds quarreling. Nicely done.
