My Shadow

RSM0812

MY life, my joy my spirit, is the ghost, is the shadow,

She dances behind the curtains of my eyes, and prances at my side,

I whisper love into her heart, to her essence of beauty true.

I linger and want of her now, and forever with the brilliance of her hue,

And beg the Gods to live each breath and beat of her blood,

That life,. Ending hence and after, she is still like a frozen lake.

And guards my waters deep, with life that swims.

My love to take, and build eternity like a mansion in the bluest sky.

Together in this universe, enjoying every whim.

In life, in death, when together or apart, until we die.
