Well

Not

Wells can dry up

you keep mine flowing

the vein runs deeper than I thought

The stones can become brittle

when lacking iron

you reinforce my frame when it wobbles and flops

The spigot to the center can break,

or be crushed, and even be torn apart

So I hope you will treat me well like a well

A most interesting metaphor often used for writing and I wonder if this is to what it refers. It needs support indeed and I hope many will read this as support. Well (no pun intended, well maybe) done.
