We Are Meant Two Be

William Hromada

In the quiet of your presence, I unfold,

Unraveled, yet whole, no story untold.

A stillness blooms, unexplained, divine,

With you, my heart claims peace as mine.

No mask, no guard, just breath, just ease,

Your nearness soothes like a warm, soft breeze.

Home is not a place, but where you are,

A tether to my soul, my guiding star.

The silence stings when you’re out of reach,

A restless ache no words can teach.

Yet in your orbit, I am free,

Bound to you, where I’m meant to be.

Clever play on Two in the title. A poem of togetherness and bond. Nicely written
