Waiting Patiently

William Hromada

In the quiet hush of dawn's first light,

A heart beats softly, holding dreams in sight.

Time drips slowly, like honey from a hive,

Each moment a treasure, where hope feels alive.

The world rushes by, in a whirlwind of haste,

Yet here I stand, savoring time's gentle taste.

With each passing hour, a story unfolds,

In the silence of waiting, a tapestry molds.

The trees whisper secrets, as leaves start to sway,

Nature's own rhythm, in a delicate play.

Clouds drift above, painting skies with their grace,

Reminding me softly, there's beauty in space.

So I breathe in the stillness, let patience be my guide,

For in waiting, I find a calmness inside.

The future may shimmer, just out of my view,

But I’ll embrace this moment, and all it can do.

For in the act of waiting, there’s wisdom to glean,

A lesson in trust, in the spaces between.

So I’ll stand here with courage, with hope in my heart,

Awaiting the magic, that’s yet to depart.

A wonderful poem of reflection peace and calm where most meditative striving takes us. Very nice

William, this is serene and grounding. The slow drip of time, the whispering trees…it all moves with such gentle patience. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
