A Rose To All Poetry Part 2

mtrotter1

No one can survive old sorrows

And no one wants to remember old tomorrows

Yet poetry is poetry

In the form of a brilliant romance,

I capture the light of its brilliance

And its charm;

So what does romance have to offer

A lady with a mind?

For my heart is still not respected!

And chivalry is dead!

And once upon a flower

I did not bloom...

Radiance becomes me

In time,

For what is love upon a flower anyway?

I trust that the pages will fall upon the limbs

Of a wavering despair,

And the closeness of love fades.
