I am not perfect, merely on the way,
A student of the dawn, each passing day.
To learn the purpose, the intricate design,
Of all that is, both common and divine.
With open mind, to seek and understand,
The hidden currents, across every land.
To peel back layers, to truly see,
The nuanced shades of what is meant to be.
No rigid lens, no old view twisted tight,
But letting understanding bring pure light.
A willingness to listen, fresh and deep,
The silent wisdom that the moments keep.
This ceaseless judging, I must make it cease,
This mental habit that denies my peace.
The swift appraisal, the internal score,
That builds a wall, and then demands much more.
To stop this constant weighing, this harsh art,
That separates and closes off the heart.
I need to live, unburdened, light upon the ground,
Where only honest seeing can be found.
To simply be, letting the world unfold,
A story in no judgments to be told.
This is the freedom that my spirit craves,
To shed all labels, ride on gentle waves
Of pure acceptance, open, wide, and clear,
And hold life close, unmarred by doubt or fear.

A poem of opening the mind to differences that are not part of you. This is a seeing of things from other perspectives. A freeing of the soul. Nicely written my wriend

My friend, this flows with clarity…the open mind here feels less like concept and more like lived freedom. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
