Crescent Moon

Uhhh okay

I really didn't have anything to say

I didn't hear what I wanted

I read what was said

And for once, it didn't fill me with dread

It made me happy and excited to see

that the work I was doing was still

cut out from and for me

Isn't that just lovely

Something only for you and me

My instructor said I must be well fed

Too much teeth for someone that wants to eat

I responded "definitely"

Because just thinking about you is so sweet

"Just tell me when you're ready and maybe we could meet"
