I lust for more than skin and flame
A breath, a glance, a whispered name. A taste of something sharp and true, A hunger wrapped in velvet blue.
A touch that hums beneath the bone
Then fades, and leaves me more alone. A dream I hide, a quiet ache, A box I fear I’ll one day break.
For ladies must not chase the fire
Temptation sings in soft attire. Yet lust still lingers, sweet and sly— A shadow I can't justify.

Wow! A poem contrary to modern thought where passion is all that's sought. Very nicely written with good rhyme as well. A fave
