Hurricane Swell

whats write for me

Hurricane Swell
Psalms 69:2
I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.

Rough waters rise, waves wash through,  Tossed and turned in churning blue.  Pulled beneath where light won’t glean,  Salt stings my eyes, losing the dream.  Hope slips past, the current too fast—  In my last gasp, I call his name.

Then silence breaks—not wind, but name.  A hand descends through wrath and flame.  Not distant, not delayed.

Jesus steps in, my soul to save.

He grips my wrist, His eyes meet mine, suddenly, the storm resigns.
He lifts me up—not just to breathe,
But to believe, to stand, to lead.
On grace I walk, where grave once lay
Because He came, I rise today.
