BEFORE NEW DAWN

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

The tears burned
Grief in crystal
Falling stars
With faces blurred
Hot and stinging
Salted wishes
Wrapped in sorrow
Pages turned.

Moments wandered
Orphaned snowflakes
Upon some bitter
Silent storm
Muffled voices
In a prism
A frozen lake
A long lost cause.

A brooding sky
Lit with resentment
Eyes windows
Red and drawn
Lifes shadow
In its nature
Night it dies
Before new dawn.
