Whispers of Music

Iris Lynn

A single note, a gentle breeze,

It dances through the silent trees.

A rhythm born from heart and soul,

It lifts us up, it makes us whole.

Strings that hum and drums that beat,

A melody both wild and sweet.

In every chord, a tale is spun—

Of joy, of pain, of battles won.

So let it play, let voices rise,

Like stars that sing across the skies.

For music is the breath we share,

A timeless song that fills the air.

Beautifully said a thought that comes coincidentally close to a thought in my poem today. Funny how stars align sometimes. Loved the topic as well as your grace in saying it. Very well done.
