Feast Your Eyes

Tristan Robert Lange

πŸ‘οΈ Feast your eyes. Feast your ears. This one is for you.

πŸŒ‘ FREAKY FRIDAY FROLIC DROP πŸŒ‘
Today, I’m giving you something raw and special —
an early premiere of my song Feast Your Eyes.

This is a gift for those who walk with me now, before the official release. You get to hear it first, in all its haunting, hungry energy. The full rollout will come later on Spotify, Apple Music, and everywhere else… but today, it’s yours.

Intro (Instrumental)

Verse 1:
I sit here alone almost every night
Counting the days—my eternal fright.
A crypt of fools—what a horrible sight—
Filled with death and the things of blight.

Pre-Chorus:
Ghosts crowd the halls
Of our tomb-filled minds.

Chorus:
The ups are downs
And the lows are highs,
Unearthed, rot is risen;
Go ahead and feast your eyes.

Verse 2:
Fog along the cemetery,
I can see that it makes you wary.
My loneliness—not an average fairy—
Is now the burden you must ever carry.

Pre-Chorus:
Ghosts crowd the halls
Of our tomb-filled minds.

Chorus:
The ups are downs
And the lows are highs,
Unearthed, rot is risen;
Go ahead and feast your eyes.

[Instrumental]

Chorus (repeated):
The ups are downs
And the lows are highs,
Unearthed, rot is risen;
Go ahead and feast your eyes.

Outro (Instrumental)

  • Comment from author about the poem: A Freaky Friday Frolic. Feast Your Eyes began as a song I wrote in the shadows of last week, and today I’m sharing it as a gift before its official release. It carries the voice of TragicLife β€” part gothic lament, part graveyard hymn β€” where rot rises, ghosts crowd the halls, and we are dared to dance straight into darkness.

    Tristan you continue to amaze me with your artistic talent. The music works well for this piece. A good timing for this work in this month. Well done my friend

      Soren, I’m grateful for your words. Indeed, this song was meant for October...the ghosts, the rot, the rhythm of the season. I’m glad the music carried it for you as well! Your feedback means the world, my friend. Thank you so much! πŸ‘οΈπŸŒ‘πŸŽΆπŸͺ¦

        Most welcome my friend

        Your song "Feast Your Eyes" revolves around themes of loneliness, existential dread, and the interplay between life and death. The imagery of ghosts, tombs, and decay reflects a sense of confinement within one's own mind, emphasizing the burdens of personal struggles and emotional weight. The repeated invitation to "feast your eyes" suggests a juxtaposition between the grotesque realities of existence and an acceptance or acknowledgment of these darker aspects.

          Friendship, thank you. You caught the heart of this...loneliness, dread, ghosts of the mind...and the way β€œfeast your eyes” dares us to face what we’d rather avoid. Always grateful for your insight. πŸ‘οΈπŸŒ‘πŸŽΆπŸͺ¦
