IF

Lily May Emerald

IF WISHES WERE HORSES
I'D RIDE LIKE THE WIND,
UNTIL I FOUND
MY TIME AGAIN.

IF DREAMS DO COME TURE
THEN DAYS RETURN TO ME;
EVERYONE IN THEIR PLACE
WHERE I WANT THEM TO BE.

IF TIME IS A CIRCLE
IT'LL COME AROUND AGAIN,
BUT WITH A DIFFERENT MEANING
AND A PEACE THAT WILL NOT END.
