In life’s sanctuary

Sami Mulaj

IN LIFE’S SANCTUARY

It’s not a train door

On your next journey,

Where you search for a seat

To sit down,

Nor an airplane door

With numbers A, B, C, D, E...

Nor the saddle of a steed

In a running race,

Nor a meadow

Amidst grass and flowers.

It is a long journey,

Fortunate, without return,

To enter life’s sanctuary

Without a key,

Only with love.

Short and to the point it talks of life's journey with love and the guide and key. Lovely
